Christina Haack, born on 7 July 1983, in Anaheim California. Her first employment was with the real estate industry. She met Tarek Al Moussa, who was in the real estate industry. The couple ran a successful business until 2008 when real estate investors or house flippers as well as many others broke. Tarek El Moussa & Christina El Moussa had a chance to be bankrupted by the stock market crash in 2008. Their apartment was $700 per week, compared to the $6,000 that they were paying monthly for their home. Their company, as well as the economy in general, slowly returned. HGTV and Rise to Fame In 2011 Tarek sought out a partner to help him make the HGTV audition tape, which featured his and Christina turning a house the beginning to the end. Pie Town Productions executives received the tape. These executives were in love of Tarek, Christina and their stories. They signed an official HGTV contract in the year 2012. In April of 2013, "Flip of Flop" premiered. In seven seasons, the show was broadcast between 2013-2017. On the show, Christina and Tarek would acquire properties, which are typically mid-income homes in Orange County, and would then proceed to spend several weeks completing upgrades in order that they could flip the property to make an income. Tarek concentrates on demolition and renovation while Christina is focused on designing while also making sure all goes according to plan.
